Jenn’s Simple BBQ Rub
Updated: Jul 21, 2020

One BBQ Rub that works for (almost) Everything
This BBQ rub is perfect for beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and sloppy joes. This makes a small batch, but if you double it, add to a mason jar, put the top on, and shake it up. You’ll always have it on hand.
Done? Take a picture (or two) and share them with me!
I can’t wait to see how you use this BBQ rub! Grilling, sloppy joes, smoking a brisket…
Ingredients
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons paprika
¼ cup coarse salt
2 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 tablespoons onion powder
Directions
measure and put all ingredients in a bowl and whisk gently together or in a canning jar put the lid on and shake.
store any extra in an airtight container*
* It's recommend to only have enough for a month. I have had this spice blend last me about 3 months with good flavor still in tact. But It’s completely up to you. This is why the recipe amount I’m sharing isn’t a lot.
