A Bit About The Owner
Greetings from America's Heartland
is the reason for my true appreciation for food) and my mom who, the eternal optimist that she is, attempted to fix things in the house. She was also the crafty person in the house, knitting, crocheting, and especially sewing. That being said, I took after both my dad and mom and grew to enjoy cooking and crafting. Thankfully, my husband (Nate) is also a cornucopia of talents and can fix, build, and create almost anything.
I have 5 amazing children that remind me daily of how great it is to be alive (and also remind me of how human I am). I'm married to a true blue Wisconsinite and all that entails. From hunting and fishing to hiking and boating, if he can find a way to be outside, he will (yes, even in the coldest of winter days). Being married to a man who embraces everything about Wisconsin and the Midwest for that matter, brings new adventures and enjoyment daily. He's the main reason for this blog and supports me in my many ideas and randomness I do/bring up. My husband, children and I love and enjoy everything that the Midwest (especially Wisconsin) has to offer. We love spending time together (especially outside) and truly love where we currently call home. We are die-hard sports fans (especially football) and love to eat.
